Hello heroes! As you know GoPro has stopped supporting Gopro
Studio. So you will be able to use Quik for Desktop
to make awesome clips instead of using GoPro Studio Templates Quik for desktop allows you to make automatic
editing. So now I am showing you how to make short
clips fast and easy. After opening quik for desktop choose clips
you are going to work with. Hold Shift button or Ctrl and click mouse
button to select all clips you want to. After that click “Open in create mode”. Added media is available on the left-hand
side of Create Mode. The rule is one clip per row. As you can see there are four frames and clip
duration. It is possible to set the length of a clip. You can use 3 options: 15, 30 or 60 seconds. After that you will be shown how many clips
you will be able to add into a storyboard. Next you have to select a moment you want
to add into your storyboard. For that you hover a mouse at choosen clip’s
highlight, then click. All added parts of clips into your storyboard
are marked blue. Don’t be misled by the things that HiLight
tags are marked yellow. You can always see how many clips are remaining. Add clips till you have reached the maximum
number of highlights. After that we show you how to manage your
timeline. First you can shuffle clips if you want to. For that drag one into another position. Second you can delete any clips. For that choose one and click delete button. At any time you can preview your timeline
by clicking play button. After that you have to change music. You have got 10 free soundtracks. If you buy GoPro Plus subscription you will
unlock an expanded library of soundtracks that dynamically transform your footage into
awesome videos. As you can see you will be able to play music
and preview your timeline with it. Finally click add to video. The quantity of clips are changed automatically
depending on chosen soundtrack. So we are shown that 5 clips are remaining. Next we add them into our timeline. After that if you dont like the best highlights
that Quik chose automatically you will be able to change it by yourself. Choose clip and click edit button. Then we reposition clip: set position of start
or position of end as we like. Playback window shows the position of start. So now I click clip handle and drag left or
right through the timeline to the moment where I want my clip to end. I have marked it red. Don’t forget you can’t change the duration
of the clip. After that you will be able to make color
correction. You can change brightness, vibrance, warmth,
contrast and shadows. I will show you how to make advanced color
correction in Quik in another tutorial. You can find link in the description. Next you can adjust volume. There are two options: volume of soundtrack
and volume of source audio. You will be able to disabled soundtrack and
enable source audio or set volume you like. Gauges are only available with the Karma drone
or Hero5 Black with GPS turned on. You will be able to dismiss GoPro outro. For that click select outro and choose no
outro. Finally click apply. Click save to export your video. First set name and quality. You can use source quality or set lower. I recommend to choose 1080p, especially if
you use both 16×9 and 4×3 aspect ratio video at the same time After that click save. All clips are saved in Edits folder. Now I show you how to save a photo from a
clip. First set position you like. Then click grab a photo. Enter photo’s title, then you will find it
in the Edits folder as well. That’s all. Let’s watch what we get in 5 minutes! Thanks for watching! If it is helpful please thumbs up and subscribe Be sure you have started receiving notifications about new video Share you ideas and thoughts in comments. Bye, bye!

Day K · May 19, 2018 at 6:36 am

Cool but please next time don't add music to your video while you are speaking :). Thank you.

Is Quik for desktop the same as Quik for mobile or are there different features?

BluDog35 · August 30, 2018 at 1:36 pm

This software sucks.

How can I make a 15 minutes video with Quik? It seems like they only allow you to do max 60 sec….

Marcos Kulenkampff · October 15, 2018 at 2:07 pm

Ruth Martin Ward · November 3, 2018 at 10:16 pm

I needed to hear the vocal instruction, not all the music. Very difficult to hear you! Also wish you would just slow down a little! … but thanks.

Mark Price · November 8, 2018 at 7:19 am

Claudya Guerr · December 10, 2018 at 4:21 pm

Clean Consult · December 26, 2018 at 5:39 pm

Из Рязани?

Solo Female Traveler · December 31, 2018 at 8:52 am

When you do tutorial please turn-off the music. The back ground music is a distraction really.

CL Torpey · January 18, 2019 at 12:24 am

Can't hardly hear instructions with the music, will go elsewhere for instructions.

Jamie Cairns · January 23, 2019 at 11:06 am

super helpful for a first time user. Thanks.

Pan Man · January 26, 2019 at 4:51 pm

I habe an expensive high quality computer. Thats not an issue. Why the hell does it lag so hard and then crash whenever i try to do anything in create mode?

Phillip LeBlanc · January 31, 2019 at 6:40 am

I can't understand your English. It's partly because of your accent but mostly because of the bullshit music in the background drowning you out.

kim ornido · February 2, 2019 at 12:47 pm

stupid app, much better gopro studio

J Gomes · March 17, 2019 at 5:52 pm

QUICK-STAR · May 5, 2019 at 5:07 pm

Terrible! No explanation for any step, just fast moving about with mouse/cursor and no way to see or understand anything. Try harder, you failed

Johnny Bacolas · May 7, 2019 at 11:21 pm

Music is so bad I couldn’t watch it

Jthumper · June 30, 2019 at 4:34 pm

I downloaded it but it fails to build a simple video, just a ton of stupid clips with music.

Dale Allen · November 9, 2019 at 7:34 pm

The music was to loud to understand the video …. Thanks for trying .

QUICK-STAR · December 9, 2019 at 3:08 pm

I just now allowed GoPro Quick to create a video for me with just snapshots and when it was finished I tried to upload it to youtube in the App. It was swirling for 20 minutes and the BAR that shows progress never moved or showed any progress or all. Now what?

IP Talks · December 24, 2019 at 7:23 pm

Please tell how to slow the video for cinematic purpose. There is no option showing to decrease the speed of video

Matjus Grek · January 4, 2020 at 1:47 pm

freeze so much when i edit a video

Hog'sTooth Airsoft · January 8, 2020 at 1:40 pm

WORST editing Software ever!!! i record 60fps and it forces me to convert to 30 or 25fps(recorded 1440p/60 and wanted to convert to 1080p/60). EVERY App i have tested so far offers more and better options then this crap of software… (Hitfilm/Shotfilm/Davinci Resolve/Adobe/Magix/…)

Vadim Merzlakov · January 15, 2020 at 9:43 pm
