Hey! More and more people are converting their work vans into campers. We challenged ourselves to design a campervan for a couple that works on the road, but still wants all the comforts of home. We had to include a spacious kitchen, home office, full bathroom, and a comfy place to sleep. We started by creating flexible seating so that the bed can double as a couch. And, when the table is here, it creates a work or meal space. A hanging light is on display, separating the living room from the kitchen. The L-countertop breaks up the shape of the van, and makes it feel more like a tiny home. Here, we added an oven for pizza night. A fully functioning bathroom is something we definitely didn’t want to compromise on. By doubling it as a hallway, the bathroom hides in plain sight. A doorway here adds privacy when the bathrooms in use. And, since we made it extra large, the couple can save water and shower together. After the end of a long drive, nothing beats winding down for the night in a cozy bed. See, a small van can have a lot of different spaces. Ready to start designing your van? Are things like wires and hoses visible, so that i know where i can cut and drill, or is this just for designing?

this is a really interesting layout. Is it one that is actually getting built out? I'd love to see how it turns out.
